DON’T PLAY THE BLAME GAME

In the film ‘Rocky’, the lead character, Rocky Balboa’s son was not stepping up and achieving his full potential. His first instinct was to blame other people for not realising and helping him achieve his dreams and I think we can all relate to this. There has probably been times when you didn’t get that job that you wanted, the love of your life chose to be with someone else, a holiday that you were eyeing suddenly goes up by 20% percent and you cannot afford it. Rocky makes a speech to his son which in my opinion is one of the greatest motivational speeches of all time. He says, “The world isn’t all sunshine and rain balls. It’s a very mean and nasty place and it doesn’t matter how tough you are. It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. Life should never be about how hard the obstacles are, but how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward, how much you can take and keep moving forward. That’s how winning is done!! Now if you know what your worth go out there and go get what your worth. Go get your Dreams without pointing fingers about how you aren’t where you are supposed to be in life because of him or her. Cowards do that and you’re better than that.” This speech makes me want to join a dream chasing choir and scream HALLELUJAH!!
