Hi Guys!! As a Malawian living in the diaspora I’m always looking for ways I can contribute and give back to the country where I was born so today I want to share an initiative which has been has just been set up by Hazel Mak, an award winning recording artist from Malawi ‘The Warm Heart Of Africa’ and DJ Nathan Tunes, an award winning DJ, Artists Manager, Founder of Afrojams International Events, a.k.a Mr International.

MALAWIAN GIRLS ROCK is the first networking event of it’s kind to come to Malawi. The aim of this initiative is to promote education, empower women and enable female entrepreneurs, professionals and investors to interact.
Malawian Girls Rock is a social and economic empowerment campaign for Malawian girls.

Hazel Mak & Nathan Tunes’s goal is provide girls with the tools and knowledge they need to preserve their optimism, restore their confidence and help them create a better Malawi! This event is very powerful and will contribute tremedously to Malawian communities and the country. Economic security being a critical lever of change in adolescent girls’ lives. This initiative is a bridge between professionals, entrepreneurs and investors to interact for the betterment of women and the betterment of Malawi.

I urge all Malawian girls!! All Malawian women and even men to get involved!!! Share this movement on your social media with as many people as you can. It doesn’t matter what your race, background or social status is…if Malawi has been your home at some point in life, you support women, you run a business in Malawi or want to know more about Malawi!! Please support this initiative by posting this on Facebook, twitter and instagram and if you need any more information please contact!!!!
